It seems like I’m always about a year ahead of the rest of the world when it comes to Nashville’s parks.  Mrs. Wigglebottom and I enjoyed Shelby Bottoms until it got too crowded for our tastes.  We enjoyed Percy Warner until it got too crowded and full of unleashed dogs for our tastes.  And this morning, we drove over to Bell’s Bend.

After the Cruise: Ft. Lauderdale

Disembarking was VERY quick in Miami. We were off the ship, before 8:30 a.m. We did the self assist with our luggage, so we could go right straight to customs. We were back at the Fairfield by 9:30 a.m. Not bad. We got our car and made our way to Ft. Lauderdale. I have to say that Ft. Lauderdale is absolutely beautiful.

I’ve got the Austin itch….

Don’t worry,  it’s  not some strange disease that stems from too much Shiner Bock, queso dip and swimming in Barton Springs. It may be contagious though.
