Lonell Matthews (whom the City Paper called a "flip-flopper" on this issue) up first.  Mentions that 92% of people in area are opposed to May Town Center proposal.  Says he thought city planners offered a plan that would provide balance and lead nationally.  Says more questions need to be answered before plan can be approved:

I had heard that their was some tweaking to do on the overall master plan, in regard to the concerns of high densities of the development and adverse traffic congestion deserving further study.

The City Paper takes a hard line on Brentwood and its neighbors, requiring them to pay-up, shut-up, OR cut them off. Tough talk, which I cannot disagree. If I was living in Metro, I would not want to pay the increased cost of subsidizing the usage of sewage of adjoining cities.
