Whoopiteedoo. While I rejoice and celebrate the 4th of July and take pride in being an American, the 4th of July this year begs me to answer just one question. Do I catch up on housework tomorrow or do I just laze around or play all day?

It looks like the US Open is going to go into this morning. Hard to believe that 72 holes around that place couldn’t determine a winner … but it didn’t and know they get to play 18 more holes. The USGA is all about tradition, and an 18 hole playoff is definitely that. I am a big fan of the The British Open’s 4 hole playoff. That seems give us the best of both worlds.

J.J. loves sleeping in his crib. He also loves playing in his crib as he's falling asleep and when he wakes up. He is (for the most part) the ideal crib sleeper. While he is without a doubt tall enough and strong enough and determined enough to climb over the rail and lower himself to the floor, he has never tried. Maybe he feels secure in there.
