millionth time

As I said in my last post I was in Florida last week. A few political impressions.

All the commercials are political. It was like back to back to back political adds on TV. About two to one Obama to McCain adds but there were a lot of house and local political races going on as well.

Katie and I have flip-flopped about television and cable since we bought this house nearly two years ago. First we had it, then we didn’t. Then we had it again, and soon it’ll be no more.

"Here’s the shocker,” Becky began.  She was reading out loud from a Beth Moore bible study she’s going through right now called Breaking Free.

I have the flu, apparently, at least according to an over-the-phone diagnosis yesterday from a nurse practitioner friend of mine who's apparently seen more than 100 people like me in the past few days. I was a. glad I didn't waste any time at the doctor's office for them to say, you have the flu. Go home and rest and b. kicking myself for about the millionth time for not getting a flu shot this year. I always get a flu shot.
