I had a 9am meeting this morning so I was not able to be one of the first in line for the iPhone. That didn’t stop me from at least checking out the festivities. Here are pictures from the Apple Store in the Green Hills Mall and the AT&T store in Green Hills:

In October 2005 I wrote a post asking for a higher gas tax; I wanted taxes to create $5 gas. The idea (and by no means was it my idea) was that a higher gas tax would accomplish 3 things:

Its raining pretty hard right now. Its still very dark, and looks like its gonna be one of those days.  No big deal, I’m stuck inside at work all day, so go ahead, rain your tail off. Just don’t rain into tomorrow. I’m taking the day off to go over to Greystone and play some golf, which should be a lot of fun.
