Those Obama supporters out there feeling left behind by Barack Obama’s lack attention to Tennessee may be in for some excitement relatively soon. Post Politics has learned that a conference call took place this morning to make arrangements to bring the Democratic Presidential nominee to Nashville.

First, we have Cindy McCain, heiress to a beer fortune, telling CNN that the only way to get around the state of Arizona is by private plane! Elitist: yes, or no?

Normally, I don't go after the spouses of politicians. But when those spouses commit crimes, then they are fair game.

Cindy McCain was (is?) addicted to pain medication. and by her own admission, STOLE DRUGS FROM HER CHARITIES to use for herself.

“If they (Tennessee Republicans) think that they are going to make Michelle an issue in this campaign, they should be careful, because I find unacceptable the notion that you start attacking my wife.”

The Tennessee Republican Party is now heaping more national scorn upon the state by not properly vetting their “average Americans” in the Youtube video.

From the moment I was old enough to understand the concept of a country, of nationhood and of America, I have always been proud of my country. I have not always agreed with everything my country's government - local, state or federal - has done, but I have never not been proud of my country.

Polls indicate that more than 20% of Hillary Clinton’s supporters will vote for John McCain if Barack Obama is the nominee.  If that number is just 5% in November it will devastate an Obama candidacy.
