I've written about my concerns of technology impeding personal relationships, before, and here is one more study that backs up my fears.

I see an entire generation that can't socialize without Emailing or IMing someone. The days of face to face all day conversations at the coffee shop are over, at least without being interrupted by "a call I just have to take."

Michael Arrington has posted that TechCrunch has reached the 1,000,000 subscriber mark on FeedBurner. First off, congrats to TechCrunch; I have never seen someone hit that milestone before.

I will be spending this weekend mostly with myself and I think I have forgotten how to do that! I have been so busy all summer and into September that I haven't had the downtime on the weekends that I used to. I do have some plans, but for the most part I will have an unstructured weekend mostly with my own company.
