highland rim

It has been a typical mid-July week here in Tennessee. Temperatures have been in the 90's for much of the state and conditions are very dry. The only good news is low temperatures at night have fallen into the 60's! Very comfy at night.

Temperatures across the Highland Rim will near 90° later today with virtually no chance for rain.....here in Cookeville, it is a beautiful morning to start and we expect another nice day for Saturday although rain chances will increase. By Sunday, a front nears and we'll see a good chance for rain!

It is back to work for a lot of us after an extended Independence Day Weekend. Could I get one more day off?

We'll see temperatures push 90° for today's high. Some areas of Tennessee will see showers, but I think our area here on the Highland Rim will be dry.

Beautiful weather will cover the Highland Rim area of Middle Tennessee today with only an isolated chance at a shower or two. About a 20% chance.

Temperatures will only be in the mid and upper 70's across the Highland Rim today as a cold front passed through on Sunday. Lows tonight could bottom out around 54° here in Cookeville and might be even cooler in the higher elevations up on the Cumberland Plateau!
