Something is rotten in DC

From an economic position, I don't know if I support this, but Sen. Haynes bill to require employers to provide sick and vacation time to part-time employees failed in the Senate Commerce committee by a 2-5-1 vote.

The Tennessee State Senate Commerce Committee rightly dismissed a bill by a 9-2 vote that would have mandated pay for time taken off by employees working for businesses that employed twenty-five or more workers.

I have a couple of updates to add on my post from last week regarding the creation of state and national programs focusing on expanding internet access which also seems to work not only as a PR machine for AT&T but as a lobbying agency as well.
