Twitter has been a little “stressed out” lately. One of the downsides of this is that they have disabled the “replies” tab on twitter.com. Twitter is suggesting that we should use summize.com to check replies.

A few weeks ago, I successfully convinced a friend to switch to gmail. She was using her ISP’s email, and it had problems. ISPs limit space and tend to block random things (my old bellsouth account used to block my daily comics from comics.com - very irritating). Gmail, I told her, had no downside.

Yeah, it happened! Amazingly, the man who interviewed me also spent exactly one year working here in west TN, but as he put it, "it just wasn't middle Tennessee," so he moved back. Once that was revealed, it was as if I were just having a nice chat with someone with whom I shared an odd background in common.

This isn’t much of a surprise…it was pretty obvious that the very reason Google bought Feedburner in the first place was so they could roll AdSense into it. And no complaints here either–to their credit, Google immediately made all of the “pro” features of Feedburner available for free as soon as they took ownership.
