WPLN reports: 

Bob Tuke won Tennessee’s democratic primary in the US Senate race last night, and wasted no time today in going after his opponent, Republican Senator Lamar Alexander. In a conference call with reporters today, the former state Democratic Party Chair says Alexander has done a poor job in handling the economy.

Vince Young's injury does not appear to be serious.  He slipped when dropping back yesterday on the wet field.  He was tight afterwards and was held out as a precaution.

Tomorrow is the last day to register to vote in next month’s general election. There will be plenty of interest in Nashville’s School Board election and a few General Assembly primary races, but not a whole lot else.

Things have actually been getting almost... jiggy at my Parents.com blog. Thanks to those of you who've become active readers and commenters. We have quite the sharing and caring going on over there. And now for those of you who haven't been over already, here's what happened there this week....

Everyone’s favorite couple and our best friends, G-Man & SueBoo, are celebrating their eleventh wedding anniversary today. Holy crap, it can’t have been that long ago that ya’ll got married. Dang are we getting old or what?

Councilman Eric Crafton and his Save Our Students groups aren't the only ones who can crunch the education statistics.

1. A few too many of my fingers presently smell like poo on account of them recently being submerged in poo.  The sink is too far away.  I’m not getting up.
