I just wrote a post at Banks.com about how people losing their homes to foreclosure are abandoning at a disturbing rate their dogs, cats, and other pets along with the house.  My friend Ivy has a pack of cats who are cruising her neighborhood with apparent abandon, non-neutered and non-spayed so they are breeding more homeless kitties.

Yesterday, I posted some pictures on to Flickr. Just some random shots of my family, my silly obsession of taking pictures of my dogs, veggie shots and the like. Things that interest me. Ironically, I spoke to my sister about I wanted her to sign up for flickr so I could mark some of the photos of the nieces family/friends only. She said she would.

Tax Foundation President Scott Hodge recently published an article (it can be found here) on the opportunity he sees for federal tax reform during the next administration -- regardless of who wins.

Oh, y’all, I slept so poorly last night I can’t even tell you.  I’ve been waking up every day for the past week at exactly four in the morning and today was no exception.  Except worse, because, as I said, I had been sleeping like [bleep].

I blame the tick.

Because if it weren't for the tick I found embedded in the my daughter's shoulder during her bath last week, I never would have grabbed the bottle of rubbing alcohol, uncapped it and put it on the side of the tub, so that I could swab the bite in the rubbing alcohol after pulling the tick from her skin.

I also blame sleep deprivation.
