From the NWS-Nashville reports...
.....At 2:30 pm on Friday, June 13, 2008, strong thunderstorm-induced winds caused damage to a manufacturing plant wall 3 miles South of Sparta, TN.
.....Nearly 200 linear feet of the wall was blown out crushing several vehicles on the outside of the plant.

Something destroyed a barn and knocked down trees. The question is...Which was it? A strong storm or a small tornado.

The NWS-Nashville has confirmed 'some' rotation in or near the damaged area.

***Breaking News***
Tornado damage has been reported in Kearney, Nebraska.
Early reports are (and I caution you all on this) the town has taken a direct hit.

The Rutherford County Commission forsook a group of developers hoping to build a Bible Park in the Murfeesboro area:

Looks like rain might enter our picture again LATER today. We are looking at a chance of severe weather for Sunday.

A small line of showers is moving through Middle TN this morning. According to the NWS, they should produce only about a tenth (.10) of an inch of rainfall. Later today, under daytime heating, clouds will build and possibility exists for developing showers and thunderstorms.

Temperatures will rise quickly this morning here on the Highland Rim of the Cumberland Plateau. We're starting out in the lower 50's and should see highs reach to near 80° by late this afternoon.

Rain will hold off until late Wednesday night, continues through Thursday and Thursday night. However, nice weather will return again for Friday!
