In theory, I like to believe I'm a feminist- the kind of new-line feminist who believes in supporting all women who are trying to make good choices for themselves and their families, whether they opt to stay at home with their children or work outside the home and hire someone to help out, or hold down a job while their husband stays home with the kids.

Badger and I were talking about Cousin Oliver on the Brady Bunch the other day and about the Cousin Oliver syndrome as a whole. We both agreed that when a television show adds a cute and snarky kid, the show is doomed.

Hey, it’s not my research so don’t shoot the messenger.  Some scientist types at UCLA have proven that our technology-enabled multi-tasking is doing some harm along with it’s supposed good.

Sometime last year, Joe asked if we could get digital cable. I can't remember the specifics, but the NFL Network played a part. I told him he could do anything he wanted to do, as long as he did it without involving me.

Well, much to my surprise, he did it. And although he didn't involve me, he did involve him, but that's another story... We ended up with digital cable, some sports package (I think) and two DVRs.
