The presidential campaign for president being waged by Sen. John McCain isn't just scraping bottom - it is digging through the bottom in search of new awfulness. The GOP is celebrating the McCain Myths and Legends Tour, and the fictions which prop up this tour just grow and grow.

Worth noting about Palin’s executive experience, not exactly what you’d expect from a fiscal conservative.
As mayor of Wasilla, AK, Palin pushed through a sales tax increase, increased government spending,  and racked up nearly $20 million in long-term debt for the town of less than 6000,  or roughly $3,000 of debt per resident.

The worst defense of Sarah Palin's executive experience by a McCain staffer ever, especially in the loathsome insinuation that she has command over the Alaskan National Guard while they are in Iraq:
