I decided to do a Saturday post since 1) Friday's was so heavy and 2) I have something super cute to share.

It's that time of year again to get geared up for the Great American Clean-up
2008, hosted by the Alliance of District 29. The attachment has some detailed
information about FREE Shredding services, the clothing drive, household
furniture & appliances drop-off and much more all on May 24, 2008 from 8am to 1

A couple of Memorial Day Weekend updates from the City of Knoxville...

I'm feelin' it. I've started a yearly tradition: Spring race training, to culminate in an end-of-May event that coincides with both the end of the school year (May 23) and my birthday (May 24). I banished the doldroms between spring break and final exams with 7-mile tempo runs, hill training, and 12-mile weekend jaunts.

So why are we publishing Mayor Karl Dean's weekly schedule again? We don't know. As it turns out, there's not much to share, and I'm kind of running out of jokes here.

In honor of my favorite holiday, Victoria Day, I give you this video of a song that is about this Canadian holiday that is being celebrated today.
