I was surprised at how much I liked this book. At first the subtitle really threw me off and I put off reading it, but once I read Sigmund Brouwer’s endorsement of the book I decided to give it a chance, and I was not disappointed.

Today I’m making a huge confession.  I’m embarrassed by this because I, of all people, know better. I’m cheating on my wife. I’m also cheating my boys.  And the worst thing is… it’s not the first time.

I SO did not realise that until just now. I opened my WordPress dashboard determined to write something, but not knowing what. Because you know that the best things always happen when you don’t have a plan. ::scoff::

I've had the privilege of speaking with several young people and couples recently who are possibly experiencing a call to full-time, vocational missions and ministry. Talking with people at this stage of life is one of my favorite things to do. It fuels me in ministry to help others process their call.

I’m so excited about the new series we are starting at Cross Point Nashville this Sunday. Almost everything I ever write comes from something God is teaching me in my own personal life. This has never been more true than with this series.

I’ve grown up using phrases like “personal saviour” and “personal relationship with God/Jesus Christ”.  And I do firmly believe in personal interactions with the Divine.

But I am getting kind of tired of all of the blogs and testimonies which seem to focus fully on What God Has Done For Me Lately.
