I was talking with my dad today about the workplace and how the economy seems to be affecting things there. We're all feeling it, of course. I ride share as much as I can to get to and from, I bring my lunch/dinner from home (Yay, tuna fish sandwiches!), and I pretty much don't buy anything that the family doesn't need. Sadly, things just continue to get tighter.

Jevon Kearse was a guest on NFL Tuesday this afternoon on 104.5 The Zone.  He talked about how motivated he is coming off of what happened in Philadelphia.  He says he is healthy and ready to be an every down player.  When Jim Wyatt asked him to predict how many sacks he would have he responded with something like this (it is a paraphrase):

See below.  A couple of issues I have:

Chris Johnson - This rating seems low.  Especially with Ray Rice rated at an 80, Mendenhall an 81, and McFadden an 85.  I'd like to see something closer to 80.

Alge Crumpler - This seems really low considering he was a 94 last year.

This was the first draft where the frachise was officially known as the Titans.

Round 1 Pick #16- Jevon Kearse, DE, Florida

This should be fun.  Here is my predicition for the Titans 53 man roster on opening day 2008.

OFFENSE

QB- Vince Young, Kerry Collins

RB- LenDale White, Chris Johnson, Chris Henry

FB- Ahmard Hall, Casey Cramer

Draft day is always exciting as a Titans' fan during the Mike Reinfeldt regime.  You never really know what is going to happen.  Most of us were just sitting there waiting for the Titans to move up as all of the top receivers were still sitting there as the 2nd round ticked along.  Obviously that did not happen.
