Today is the first day in about, oh gosh, a month maybe, that I have really felt like myself. 

This last month has found me in an unusually stressed out mode of being that frankly, I just don’t like.  I mean, we all have our moments and all that, but, me and stressed out/tense/wired/wound up mode just do not mix. 

Dang.

SAN FRANCISCO — Gannett Co. will cut 1,000 newspaper jobs, or about 3% of that division’s workforce, the company said Thursday. Employees affected by layoffs will be notified by the end of the month.

Last night we all headed to downtown Nashville for the CD release party of local artists Flat Rock Revival. All of you who missed the show should be kicking yourselves. It was standing room only. They managed to sell out of Bud Light & Miller Light. Dang there were a lot of people there last night.

So, my nephew runs around saying things like “I’m better than God!” and “I can kick God’s butt!” and “I’m a better ninja than God.” (though in all fairness to God, I doubt that’s true.), which he doesn’t just say softly or in his indoor voice.

Dang, I didn’t get the memo on British Invasion Feel Good Friday (there wasn’t a memo, I tease, I keed) but I love the British Invasion.

So I’m going to do it again.
