I’m going to go ahead and preface this post with a disclaimer–it’s going to get stupid and, as LL Cool J would say, ridicalous (misspelled on purpose for all you sticklers).

LL Cool J is hard as hell.  But apparently he didn’t start off that way.  Rumor has it when he’s alone in his room sometimes he stares at the wall and in the back of his mind he hears his conscience call.

The MTV Video Music Awards is something that I looked forward to, course that was back in 1989 (the 2008 VMAs are 25 yrs old btw) but I think that's the last time they were any good. I'm sure others would disagree but this is the age of the internet so leave a comment because you can.

It’s the 90’s: a generation so caught up in branded ideology, hot of the heels of 80’s big hair, and destined to make an impact on the world. Though many companies big and small had already seen the influence celebrities had and put them to practice in marketing ventures of their own, this generation would see several rise to the top.

The Deal, a satire of Hollywood chicanery starring William H. Macy, Meg Ryan and LL Cool J, will be the opening-night film April 17 at this year's Nashville Film Festival. There's no word yet on whether any of the stars will attend, but two other high-profile guests have been confirmed: Law & Order: Criminal Intent star Vincent D'Onofrio and director and Oscar-winning screenwriter Callie Khouri (Thelma and Louise). Both will serve as judges and panelists.
