I've spent considerable sums getting folks who have a place to go and/or a job prospect waiting for them elsewhere on a bus to another city.  Working in conjunction with Helen Pace over at Traveler's Aid, together we've sent quite a few folks off to what we hope are better futures elsewhere.

Greg Siskind doesn’t believe those who rent to illegal immigrants should be prosecuted for harboring:

This is not what the harboring laws were intended for. Are we going to start arresting Greyhound executives for allowing unauthorized immigrants to ride their buses. After all, we have laws barring people from transporting unauthorized immigrants.

Details are sketchy but it appears that Cindy Demuth has passed away February 23rd, 2008 from complications of her diabetes...
