I really liked the summer replacement show 'America's Got Talent' last year. It reminded me of the old time variety shows. Occasionally, they threw in some freakish acts they knew couldn't win for laughs, but it was more about finding talent last season than it was last night.

At this point, I’m beginning to wonder if I’m cursed

I’m starting to wonder if I will ever feel better. I’m determined to find something amusing out of all this though. So here’s amusing thing number one.  I call it “The Case of the Too-Convenient Hymen.”

This was basically a sham.  We got, literally, 10 minutes of McCain and Romney arguing over semantics.  Whether or not Romney used the word “timetable” as a reference to troop withdrawel or a reference to milestones.  Is that really what the debate is about?

I could have sworn I was watching two high school girls bickering over the fact that one told a boy that the other liked him…”Yeah, but I didn’t mean that I like him like him.”

Bob Krumm wasn’t a big fan of the Republican Presidential Debate in Florida last night:

This makes two debates in a row where Fred Thompson was by far the strongest candidate. What do you want to bet that after this snoozefest, Fred’s numbers actually go UP in Florida.

By his looks and family, Mitt Romney is straight out of central casting for the role of President. However, his acting skills have been less than up to par.

In previous debates, Romney would easily stumble when exchanges got heated. But last night everyone was very civil, so Romney didn't get rattled. (Hillary or Barack would eat him for lunch in a debate)
