I draped my comforters over the back porch to dry in the hot sun.  I’m only sad I don’t have a clothes line so that I can hang my sheets, too.

Which, of course, has me thinking about the whole housing situation, which makes me a little sad.  Am I being too picky?  Too poor?  Ha.  Well, what can you do?

Easy, breezy and beautiful is probably the least original, but most effective way to describe my first six hours at Bonnaroo so far. There was no traffic on the drive down, no hassles checking in for press credentials and assembling my tent under the scorching hot sun was at least 1/10th the hassle I expected.

Today is my mother’s birthday, and she is thirty years and three months older than I.   Most of what I know of her I know through my own experience–because that’s how it works with mothers and daughters at first.
