A few years back, my former labelmates and I (and a couple guests) recorded a Christmas CD called Gloria.  Then we went on tour and cleverly named it...Gloria.  I hated it.  I loved hanging out with my friends and fellow singer type people and the crew guys but I hated the concept of me on a Christmas tour.  Still do.

• The U.S. leg of Madonna's Sticky & Sweet tour had a gross of $91.5 million on sales of about 550,000 tickets. For those of you keeping score at home, that's an average ticket price of $166. By my math, the average ticket price on on the U.S. leg of her 2006 Confessions tour was $183.

Billboard is going to have two charts with data from Eventful, an events website that tracks demand for specific artists and concerts. The two are "Eventful Hottest Demand" and the "Eventful Weekly Most in Demand."

According to the Toronto Star, a group of players is urging the NHL to permit advertising on goaltenders’ jerseys to generate additional revenue for the league.
