Pulled up Pandora to look for some Serge, but upon opening, the site, knowing me, played "'Till The Money Runs Out" by Tom Waits. I haven't heard that song in months.

I've been cleaning up a lot around here lately, trying to make room for the fiance, who's moving here when we get married in late June. So far, I've cleaned off one shelf of a bookshelf [still!], sold my CD player and speakers, and gotten rid of a lot of miscellaneous junk that I don't really want him to replace with junk of his own.

Stacey Campfield argues, legal or not, the way we choose judges in Tennessee is fundamentally out of step with the way the founders envisioned:

Their are new plans on how judges should be "Elected" to the supreme court.

Not really, but a big step was taken in the quest to allow the Secretary of State to step in when the Governor is incapacitated (after the speakers of both chambers take a pass which they will every time).

If all went well I’m in the air right now, heading to Miami first, and then on to the Dominican Republic.  I’m traveling once again with Compassion International but this is a trip like none other I’ve been on.
