Many of you have, no doubt, read the book by Hal Lindsey - the title of which I swiped for this post. The reason I so titled it is in response to a question I’ve been asking myself for years, “How could the premise of Lindsey’s books come to pass?”

As usual, I spent part of my day reading up on real estate news.  I was simply astounded when I came across this article about how a real estate shake-up in New Zealand is going to strengthen consumer rights.

I’ve been reading the story at the Shelbyville Times Gazette regarding the Tyson’s plant removing the Labor Day holiday and replacing it with Eid al-Fitr.

The comments at that story are so filled with hatred and anger that it honestly just sucks the oxygen out of the room.

I’ve sort of been enmeshed in my own world the past few days. A funeral of a loved one, burn out and wondering what I did to piss Karma off (I’ve narrowed down to that I was rude to a kitten in 1986 or some passive aggressiveness in the past few weeks. I’m human.)

Dear Ms. Smith,

I had a rough couple of days. I want to be clear that those days had nothing to do with me other than letting some rather disgusting business get under my skin.
