Thanks to a somewhat unrelated post of Southern Beale’s, I realized that unsuccessfully asking for more oil pumping wasn’t the only reason President Bush went to Saudi Arabia.

Sunday’s Multi-National Force - Iraq briefing delivered by Rear Admiral Gregory Smith contained some significant news.  The “sole topic” of Smith’s briefing was to address the foreign fighters now engaged in hostilities in Iraq.
