Frank Nicley has them in a tither about elected school super attendants. They pulled the bill when it looked like Frank was going to get his amendment on. Now they are working him hard to make him take it off.

The option to allow people to vote on the elected school superintendent was killed Rep. Frank Nicley drafted the amendment so it had to be passed by the county commission by two thirds vote and then by a vote of the people ( and they could even have education qualifiers).

It was killed 46-44 a of lot legislators did not vote.

The chairman of Transportation (Phillip Pinion) and Frank Nicley who sits on the conservation committee got into a little back and forth on spending money putting up watershed signs all over the place. Frank said he saw little to no use in spending hundreds of thousands of dollars putting up signs letting people know what watershed district they were in.
