Politics is supposed to be about the will of the people expressed by their vote and their activism which then shapes both the political parties and the ranks of elected officials. Would that it were that simple. Reality deals with the fact that there will always be those who are more influential than others in that process.

I've heard a lot of whining from the McCain camp about Obama receiving an unfair amount of attention this week because of his visit to Asia and Europe.

Those whiners are missing the finer point.

Don't know if you saw any of the American Country Music awards Sunday. What an embarrassment. I can't get over the fact that they have it in Las Vegas. That just ain't right.

For months I've listened to (some) 60s feminists tell me I should vote with my vagina. I have heard the most absurd arguments that I am betraying the feminist movement by not voting for the first viable female nominee for President.

It's some of these feminists, however, who are doing the betraying.

Some of you may have heard that Bubba Clinton lost his temper with some superdelegates, yesterday, and he was almost hysterical when he started ranting about Bill Richardson.
Bubba claims that Richardson promised him 5 times that he would endorse Hillary.

Let's see. Who to believe...Bill Richardson or Bubba Clinton? (Rhetorical question)
