A small line of showers is moving through Middle TN this morning. According to the NWS, they should produce only about a tenth (.10) of an inch of rainfall. Later today, under daytime heating, clouds will build and possibility exists for developing showers and thunderstorms.

These evening showers will not last long. Steady showers should exit Nashville by 6:30pm… we could get a few strays up until 7:30ish.

You have probably seen news reports of the wide-spread injuries, deaths, and destruction in the wake of tornadoes that ravaged several southern states earlier this week. The Governor and that guy currently occupying the office of President have viewed the trail of devastation and made emergency funding available for recovery.
