The Guardian's Richard Wachman had the best of the weekend's articles about EMI (pieces about Guy Hands and EMI show up every weekend, like clockwork). The trust of the article is that EMI's fate ultimately lies in its ability to sign and develop new artists.

Draft day is always exciting as a Titans' fan during the Mike Reinfeldt regime.  You never really know what is going to happen.  Most of us were just sitting there waiting for the Titans to move up as all of the top receivers were still sitting there as the 2nd round ticked along.  Obviously that did not happen.

Well, when Bill Maher got fired from ABC for remarks he made about 9/11, he felt it was against the nature of what he does, which is politically incorrect humor.

Then he said he found a home at HBO and that HBO "gets him."

Colin Powell was the best, most qualified, and most intelligent military person in the Bush Administration. It is not surprising that he was fired, he was too smart to be a part of an incompetent regime that has considerably weakened America.
